Amazon Growth. Grocery home deliveries are accelerating. Amazon has three grocery formats that are rushing food to homes – they are Amazon Prime AMZN +0.1%, Amazon Fresh AMZN +0.1%, and on-line Amazon’s Whole Foods WFM 0.0%. A most recent survey by M science finds that the fastest growth in year over year performance was by Amazon Fresh which grew +332% in June and +305% in July. Prime increased +27% in June and +27% in July as well. Quarterly data for Whole Foods shows sales were up +85% in July compared to March of 2020.
