Amazon has appointed two grocery veterans to help ease the brakes off its Fresh operation in the UK.
Both Claire Peters and Peter Bowrey have officially joined the company, taking on the roles of vice president of retail and vice president, Amazon Fresh Operations respectively.
Peters joins from Woolworths Supermarkets where she held the position as managing director. She also has worked as Tesco chief operating officer.
Bowrey has worked for Tesco for over 30 years across various functions and internationally.
