Alibaba’s ‘Singles Day’ shopping festival has already smashed records and taken over $56 billion as China’s economy emerges from the pandemic.
The Chinese ecommerce giant has already begun to cash in on China’s economic rebound as its iconic shopping event embarks on its main day of sales.
Despite Singles Day’s main day of discounts starting today, Alibaba says that it has already raked in more than $56.3 billion in the extended build up to this year’s event, designed to give more exposure to new brands.
