Consumers can now buy products from Google’s Home Internet-connected device. Linked from Google Assistant, using consumer voice-driven commands, a shopper can now instantly be connected to the company’s Express shopping service, which offers same-day delivery. Now consumers can give a command and as long as the brand is a Google Express participant, the order is automatically received and processed.
Similar to Amazon Prime, Google charges an annual membership fee for Express, which offers items from more than 50 retailers for same-day delivery in 12 states.
