Cyber Monday saw a 5% increase in transactions compared to last year, following in the footsteps of positive Black Friday figures, according to Barclaycard Payments.
Barclaycard Payments processes £1 in every £3 spent in the UK.
“Our data shows that Cyber Monday has been another full day of trading for UK retailers, with the number of transactions processed online and in-store higher than last year,” Marc Pettican said.
