Shoppers who link their payment cards with third-party loyalty programmes will be able to pay for purchases using their points on Verifone POS terminals, following a partnership with FIS.
When customers use their loyalty-linked cards, the Verifone device will notify them when enough points are available to pay for their purchases. This partnership will negate the need for physical vouchers or ordering gift cards.
