Uber has announced it is expanding its partnership with French retailer Carrefour to debut a 15 minute grocery delivery service in Paris.
The collaboration, Carrefour Sprint, is now available via the Uber Eats app, allowing shoppers to choose from almost 2000 grocery essentials including fruit and vegetables, dry goods and household goods.
The service operates through a network of dark stores, a collection of small warehouses where pickers and packers prepare orders for delivery, run by French start up Cajoo.
Uber said they plan to expand Carrefour Sprint across France in other cities including Bordeaux, Lyon, Toulouse, Lille and Montpellier in the coming weeks.
