Logistics firm Clipper, which counts Asos, John Lewis and Marks and Spencer among its customers, has agreed to a £940m takeover deal by rival GXO Logistics.
The boards of Clipper Logistics and GXO Logistics Inc said they’ve reached agreement “on the key terms of a possible cash and share offer for Clipper by GXO”.
The Clipper Logistics board unanimously recommended the potential offer by GXO of 690p a share plus shares in the US-based company worth up to 230p for each Clipper share.
