Tesco will begin charging electric vehicle (EV) drivers a set fee for using its supermarket charging points across its store network from today.
According to the supermarket giant, EV drivers have enjoyed more than 86 million miles of free electric driving from its charging stations.
The retailer first announced a range of free charging points at 100 of its Tesco stores in 2019, subsequently expanding to 500 stores in March 2022.
