Over the last two weeks, Fashion retailers have – in response to government to slow the spread of the coronavirus pandemic – been forced to shutter their physical stores and for many also their warehouse operations, bringing the industry to a virtual standstill.
But the ramifications go far deeper as retailers seek to minimize their financial losses by canceling stock orders, many of which are already en route or in production.
