Ikea is opening the two planning studios as part of a strategy to get closer to US consumers on the West Coast.
Two stores based in California opened their doors this week, located in Santa Anita and Long Beach and will focus on providing inspiration and smart home solutions for city living.
“Having a new touchpoint is always a special moment for us at Ikea and today we are thrilled as we open not one but two first planning studios in LA,” Ingka Group retail operations manager Tolga Öncü said.
