Ikea has confirmed it has increased prices of its products across all 22 UK stores, with some popular items up by 50%.
The Swedish company said prices have gone up by 10% on average, above the global average of 9%. The issue was highlighted by customers online who noticed the price increases after Christmas.
Analysis by the Daily Mail found that the price of some products, such as sofas, beds and drawers, have surged by as much as 50%, reports The Mirror.
