Amazon is prepped to scale back its air cargo service as demand cools and economic growth slows.
According to one of the company’s key air cargo operators said Monday that the ecommerce giant is scaling back on flights this year.
Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) has been in charge of a significant portion of Amazon’s air cargo fleet and said it expected to operate its Boeing 767 freighters dedicated to servicing Amazon and DHL at reduced schedules and less flight time per aircraft.
