Crocs has initiated a retail takeback pilot program, aimed at enhancing its sustainability and circular economy efforts. The program encourages shoppers to bring their old Crocs shoes to select stores in ten states across the country, regardless of their condition.
The company plans to repurpose the donated shoes through partnerships and will work towards a sustainable next use for each pair. From October 27, consumers can bring old Crocs shoes back to stores in Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
