Developed in collaboration with Storewide Active Intelligence (SAI) and Everseen, the technology uses artificial intelligence in conjunction with CCTV to ensure all items are scanned correctly. This initiative is currently being tested in two Home Bargains stores and aims to curtail a specific form of theft known as “swiping,” where customers intentionally skip scanning some of their items.
