Amazon is hoping to spark the interest of a wider range of industries for its cashier-less tech, Just Walk Out, a company vice president said.
Just Walk Out (JWO) technology uses a combination of AI and machine learning to keep track of customers as they walk round the store.
Cameras and sensors are able to determine exactly what a shopper has put in their bag, charging them electronically via their Amazon account once they have left the store.
Since 2020, it has sold JWO systems to retailers, airports, sports stadiums and a convention centre.
