Amazon partners with Snap for AR fashion experience

Amazon has teamed up with Snap to offer augmented reality fashion experiences that lets customers digitally try on different eyewear brands.

Snap’s “virtual try-on” method gives 363 million daily active Snapchat users access thousands of eyewear styles in Amazon Fashion stores.

According to the US ecommerce giant, the two companies worked to establish 3D asset standards that enable Amazon’s library of assets to be integrated with Snap’s AR Try-On Technology.
