Target Corp. continues to boost its supply chain team under chief supply chain and logistics officer Arthur Valdez, whom it hired away from Amazon.com Inc. in earlier this year.
Target has hired Ben Cook from Apple Inc. as its senior vice president of global logistics, inventory allocation and replenishment to work under Valdez. Cook, who starts on Sunday, had previously been director of logistics and supply chain at Apple, No. 2 in the Internet Retailer 2016 Top 500 Guide.
