Retail bosses are urging consumers to shop in-store if they want to receive Christmas gifts on time, as ongoing Royal Mail strikes are set to cause severe disruption.
Royal Mail workers up and down the country will strike across December, including Christmas Eve, as well as into the new year.
The CWU, which represents postal workers, confirmed that strike action will occur on 9 December, 11 December, 14 December, 15 December, 23 December and 24 December.
