Ecommerce giant eBay is planning on doubling its advertising revenue to $2 billion by 2025, according to Alex Kazim, the company’s head of global advertising, on its investor day.
The plans include a strategy to roll out an ad format for brands to drive traffic to virtual storefronts.
Advertising is a growing space for the Big Tech industry and eBay is looking for a larger amount of the ad dollars that are going to retailers.
