Home Depot builds up its omnichannel efforts in Q2

The home improvement retailer plans to complete the rollout of its buy online, deliver from store program by the end of the year. Home Depot’s online sales increased 19% in the quarter.

The Home Depot Inc.’s omnichannel efforts are paying off. 42% of Home Depot’s online orders are picked up in-store and 90% of e-commerce orders are returned to stores, said Ted Decker, executive vice president for merchandising, this week during a conference call with analysts.
