If you haven’t already bought something as a direct result of scrolling through your social feeds and feeling the irresistible urge to click ‘shop’, you may well be in the minority.
As one of the fastest-growing online shopping trends, social commerce is everywhere, and it’s showing no signs of going away any time soon. A recent trends report from Checkout.com revealed that almost two-fifths of younger shoppers buy as they scroll, with 39% of shoppers aged between 18 and 35 more likely to buy from a brand through its social media channels.
At the same time, Instagram’s own research revealed that 81% of its users use the platform to research and buy products and services.
