Apple to begin reopening stores for a second time as US cases begin to decline

Apple is set to start reopening its retail stores across the US after being forced to close them for a second time due to a spike in coronavirus cases.

The iPhone maker began informing its staff this week that stores are due to reopen imminently but will continue to practice strict social distancing measures and only allow a limited number of people inside.

Customers and staff will also continue to be subjected to contactless temperature checks which have been in place since the start of the pandemic.
