Amazon is planning to roll out a TikTok-like feed on its ecommerce app, in a bid to entice new shoppers through a stream of photos and videos from well-known influencers.
The move comes as shopping activity is declining amid the cost-of-living crisis and rising inflation.
The new feature from the ecommerce giant is geared towards attracting a younger, Gen Z audience who are more familiar with short-form videos from platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
