Online sales have fallen again in February, as total retail sales on the whole grew by less than the level of inflation.
Shopper spending also slowed year-on-year.
The proportion of sales taking place online was also down on the previous year.
According to the BRC-KPMG Retail Sales Monitor, total retail sales in February grew by 5.2% in the four weeks to 25 February 2023. A year prior, sales grew by 6.7%.
