Ikea has launched a new “next gen” experiential store offering smartphone scan-and-go technology, interactive design hubs and a host of events.
Ikea’s new concept store has been launched in Shanghai on a trial basis, but will be rolled out to new markets next year if it proves popular with customers.
The new format was reportedly “created by internal and external specialists, experts in consumer behaviour, food, expansion, mega trends, and futurology.”
